Returning in person for the first time since 2019, the 8th annual Holba’ Pisachi’ Native Film Festival highlights First American visual art from across the country through documentaries and feature films, Q&A forums, discussion panels and meet-and-greet opportunities with filmmakers and cast members. The free festival returns March 11!
March 14, take the opportunity to learn about native and migrating butterfly species, including monarch butterflies, at the National Learn About Butterflies Day event, complete with butterfly-themed activities and cultural demonstrations.
Then, March 14-18, celebrate the emergence of spring and the planting of essential crops at the annual Three Sisters Celebration, filled with Chickasaw culture, language, demonstrations and a variety of activities.

SYNESTHESIA at Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art

SYNESTHESIA is an immersive art experience by Factory Obscura, currently residing inside Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art through June 2023! Inspired by the color and textural elements of the Fred Jones permanent collection, this exhibition will ask participants to open their senses and explore what exists in the spaces in between.
