Raise a glass to happy hour.
If you like to enjoy warm, sunny days outside with a cold beer or cocktail, we have just the list for you. All over Oklahoma City, patios are open for the betterment of your next brunch or happy hour gathering, and seeking out the best rooftop bars is the best way to (literally) elevate your experience in this era of social distancing.
Check out our top favorite rooftop patios located in some of OKC’s most popular neighborhoods.
Packard’s New American Kitchen in Midtown
One area that isn’t short on rooftop patios is Midtown OKC. With a diverse collection of restaurants, bars, shops, housing and other services, this lively district always has something to keep you entertained. O Bar, located inside the Ambassador Hotel, is a charming, upscale bar offering a variety of small plates and signature cocktails as well as one of the best views of the downtown skyline.
Just a few blocks away, Packard’s New American Kitchen has its rooftop patio open from 4 p.m. to close for guests to enjoy its seasonally inspired and locally sourced menu. Start off with something delicious, like the cheese plate and the lemon rosemary chicken before enjoying banana coffee cake or donut bread pudding. In addition to its signature cocktails, Packard’s is a proud champion of by-the-glass rosés, sparkling wines and grenache.
If you’re looking for something with a Brazilian flare, head to Bossa Nova Caipirinha Lounge, one of the top rum and exotic cocktail destinations in the city. The Happy Hour menu is available daily from 4-7 p.m. with rotating $6 dishes like eggplant tapenade or bolinho de arroz, lightly fried risotto balls stuffed with creamy chicken and capers in guava sauce. Everything on the menu captures the flavors of Brazil’s popular street foods. Just wait until you catch an Oklahoma sunset on the Bossa Nova rooftop patio with a caipirinha in hand.

W XYZ Bar in Deep Deuce
Located in Deep Deuce, right on the northern edge of Bricktown is Aloft Hotel’s Oklahoma City location. What many overlook is the W XYZ Bar that sits atop the hotel and offers a view of the bustling city and all of its lights. Whether you’re a guest of the hotel or roaming the area, this cozy rooftop is in close proximity to the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Bricktown Canal and Myriad Botanical Gardens and is a great spot to mingle with friends and enjoy a yummy bite and a drink.
Social Capital in Downtown OKC
“Community through beer” is the name of the game at Social Capital. The menu features 120 draft beers, a full wine list, cocktails and food items like street tacos, salads, charcuterie and house-made ice cream. Not only is the upstairs patio spacious, it overlooks the grounds of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and new Omni Hotel. Next time you’re taking an evening stroll around the Scissortail Boathouse or perusing the OSU-OKC Farmers Market, don’t forget you can pop over to Social Capital for tacos, elote and a cold drink. Happy Hour is available Tuesday-Friday from 3-6 p.m.
