Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies
Nothing fuels a day of adventuring quite like a hot, fresh Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pie. There are dozens of flavors, from sweet apple and creamy coconut to the savory bacon, egg and cheese and the spicy Tex-Mex pie. Owner Nancy Fulton’s grandmother used the delicious recipe to feed ranch hands back in 1893, and now it’s the backbone of a beloved Davis establishment. If you’re visiting or passing through Davis, there’s no doubt you need to make a pit stop. We highly recommend enforcing a “one now, one for later” rule.

Turner Falls Park
It’s not a trip to the Arbuckles without hiking around the sandy beaches, natural caves and swimming areas at Turner Falls Park. Its namesake waterfall is the tallest in Oklahoma and provides an impressive picturesque view. The panoramic view from nearby 777 Zip is by far the grandest. The unique zipline sends you soaring through the sky 777 feet above Collings Castle, located within the park. Tickets are $15 for a single rider or $25 for two. Owner Gary Fielding is always kind and helpful; tell him we say hello!
